Launceston Historic Cottages.
Situated in a heritage precinct area, the late-Victorian cottage was originally
built in 1890 as a worker's cottage for Thyne's Woollen Mill in nearby
York Street - now the home of The Australian School of Fine Furniture.
This private, fully self-contained two-bedroom cottage features a fully-equipped
kitchen, laundry and bathroom with all modern conveniences, including hairdryer and
bath robes.
Both bedrooms have a romantic ambience and are beautifully appointed
with wrought iron beds (fitted with electric blankets) and period furnishings.
The rear verandah captures the early morning sun and creates the perfect spot for a
relaxing breakfast.
Snuggle up in the cosy, elegant sitting room with Victorian
furnishings or relax with a book in the bay window where the afternoon sun streams in.
Reverse-cycle air conditioning is installed for your comfort and a DVD player,
CD/Cassette stereo and a TV set is available for entertainment.
Why not spoil yourself and escape for a relaxing stay in your own delightful Victorian cottage? Perfectly suited for travellers, both tourist and business.
